Why this build matters

This was not a conventional collision repair.

Atey transformed this Jeep from a two-door vehicle into a four-door vehicle through a full structural body conversion. Creating a functional second set of doors meant changing the body itself, then bringing structure, openings, hardware, panel relationships, finish, and final assembly together as one complete build.

The photographs below document the actual Atey project from its original two-door form through structural construction and the completed four-door result.

The original two-door platform

The project began as a two-door Jeep. Before any cutting or structural work, the vehicle and the intended four-door layout had to be considered as one complete build—not as a simple panel addition.

Changing the body structure

The original two-door body configuration was opened up for a full structural transformation. The rear body area, floor, side structure, and mounting points were rebuilt to create the foundation for a true second set of doors.

Building the new four-door body

The four-door configuration came together through staged structural fitment and assembly. Door openings, hinges, latches, body lines, roof and side sections, and the relationship between fixed and moving panels all had to work together.

A two-door Jeep, transformed

The finished vehicle left Atey as a custom four-door Jeep. Final fit, finish, functions, and overall presentation were reviewed after the structural conversion, bodywork, refinishing, and assembly were complete.

The Atey approach

Plan the structure. Build in stages. Finish as one vehicle.

This one-off conversion shows the depth behind Atey’s structural, body, fitment, refinishing, and assembly capabilities. Every custom project starts with a conversation about the vehicle, the scope, and the intended result.
